Lightbox Signage

Many of the organisations we work with operate in the retail and downstream oil industries. Erecting highly visible lightboxes, or illuminated 3D signs, forms a core part of their branding strategy.

Lightboxes are made from an enclosed frame which contains internal lighting. The frame is designed to hold the sign face (this is typically the front and / or back of the sign, although we’ve produced boxes where the sides are also illuminated) and is normally mounted flush on a fascia or onto a bracket which allows a sign to project.

The material used to manufacture the frame could be influenced by a variety of factors including brand considerations and environmental conditions. Most widely used materials include aluminium, steel, acrylic and flexible substrate such as Panaflex.

Internal lighting is manufactured to provide illumination and this is then enclosed with a translucent face, side or back panels.

Quite a few of the box signs we produce today feature LED lighting as this technology not only has lower running costs, but also has a much longer lifecycle than traditional globe or florescent lighting. This helps to cut on-going maintenance costs while reducing the brand damaging potential of consumers being exposed to broken signage.

Branding can be produced from coloured acrylic or can be printed onto vinyl which is then cut and applied to the lightbox panels.

As we manufacture illuminated signs to order, we can custom make lightboxes to a wide variety of sizes and specifications.

In addition to conventional box signs, we can also make LED lighting strips, illuminated logos and wordmarks.
