Shopfront Signage

One of the most important elements of a retail outlet’s space is the shopfront. Poor branding or weak configuration of the structural signage elements of a shopfront will damage a customer’s perception of a business. Good shopfront signage, by contrast will enhance a brand’s image.

At First African Holdings we have many years of experience working with retailers – particularly in the oil sector – to help design and manufacture quality shopfronts. Our team of designers often consults to help clients conceptualise a retail corporate image that is appropriate for their environment.

There are a variety of components that can be incorporated into shopfront signage. At a structural level, many of our customers make use of gantries. A gantry is an arching entrance that is usually constructed out of steel and then cladded with fibreglass or an aluminium composite cladding material (ACM).

Panel and post signs, light boxes and cut out lettering are just some of the many components that can be incorporated into a shop front fascia to create an impactful and appealing entrance.
